A legendary square inside the Medina of Marrakesh, Jemaa el-Fnaa is a gathering spot for locals and tourists alike each evening. This vast and vibrant open space houses vocal entertainers, street food vendors, fruit juice stalls and other merchants, giving it plenty of energy. But there is also plenty of space, offering welcome relief from the sometimes claustrophobic alleyways of the souk.
