A throwback to the colonial era, the library in the Oyster Box Hotel is a grand room awash with dark brown leather and dark brown wood. It is known as the Clock Library, as the glass cabinets are laden with antique clocks, but it also has a military air. There are model soldiers on the coffee table and an imposing painting of a calvary trooper dominates one wall. Through the windows, there are views of the lighthouse and the shoreline below.
